The stage is set for Melodifestivalen 2024, with SVT officially unveiling the list of talented artists who will compete for the chance to represent Sweden at Eurovision in Malmö next May. In a surprising twist, next year’s lineup features no former Melodifestivalen winners, setting the stage for a fresh and competitive edition.

The Melodifestivalen Class of 2024 includes both familiar faces and debutants, promising a diverse and dynamic musical showcase. Notably, this marks the first time since 2009 that the competition lacks a returning Melodifestivalen winner.
