A few moments ago, the European Broadcast Union (EBU) revealed the 37 countries, which are going to participate in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö next year.

The full list of participating broadcasters are:

  • 🇨🇾 Cyprus (CyBC)
  • 🇨🇿 Czechia (ČT)
  • 🇩🇰 Denmark (DR)
  • 🇪🇪 Estonia (ERR)
  • 🇫🇮 Finland (Yle)
  • 🇬🇪 Georgia (GPB)
  • 🇬🇷 Greece (ERT)
  • 🇮🇸 Iceland (RÚV)
  • 🇮🇪 Ireland (RTÉ)
  • 🇮🇱 Israel (Kan)
  • 🇱🇻 Latvia (LTV)

As well as the host country Sweden and the directly qualified Big 5 countries:

🇸🇪 Sweden (SVT)

🇬🇧 United Kingdom (BBC)

The list includes the same amount of countries as last year’s competition in Liverpool, with the small difference of Luxembourg returning, while Romania is looking to take a break from Eurovision. Although the EBU hinted that a Romanian participation might still be possible:

“Whilst Romania is currently not confirmed to compete next year, talks are continuing with TVR on their potential participation as well.”
