Lithuania’s broadcaster, LRT, has unveiled the details of its pre-selection process for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, known as EUROVIZIJA.LT – see the competing artists below.

Starting on Saturday, January 13, EUROVIZIJA.LT will span six weeks, culminating in the final on Saturday, February 17, where the winning song will be announced.

The pre-selection will feature five semi-finals, each hosting eight competing songs. Every week, from these eight performances, only two songs will advance to the final in mid-February. The selection process involves a combination of both jury and public votes.

This combination of jury and public voting will continue in the final; however, the ultimate decision on Lithuania’s representative in Malmö will rest solely with the public.

Upon determining the top three through combined jury and public votes in the final, these three songs will be performed again. This time, the decision will be solely in the hands of Lithuanian viewers, who will cast their votes to choose the entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Now, let’s take a look at the 40 acts vying for the EUROVIZIJA.LT win and the opportunity to represent Lithuania in Malmö 2024. Here is the complete list of artists and the titles of their participating songs:

Notably, some familiar names in the lineup have previously competed in the Eurovision Song Contest. Fans may recall Andrius Pojavis from Malmö 2013 and Vilija from Copenhagen 2014, while The Roop represented Lithuania in both 2020 and 2021.

In the 2023 Contest in Liverpool, Lithuania was represented by Monika Linkytė with her song “Stay,” which secured a place in the Grand Final, finishing in 11th place with 127 points.
