Cyprus’ Eurovision 2024 entry by Silia Kapsis, was announced by CyBC with a teaser post on social media. The song, co-written by renowned Eurovision songwriter Dimitris Kontopoulos and Elke Tiel, carries anticipation for its release.

Dimitris Kontopoulos, known for past successes with artists like Demy, Stefania, Anna Vissi, Sakis Rouvas, Ani Lorak, Helena Paparizou, Farid Mammadov, Aisel Məmmədova, Natalia Gordienko and Sergey Lazarev, has now added Cyprus to his impressive list of collaborations, making him one of the few composers to contribute to entries from seven different countries.

Silia Kapsis was selected by CyBC in September to represent Cyprus at Eurovision 2024. The announcement follows the success of Andrew Lambrou in the previous Eurovision, who secured Cyprus a place in the Grand Final with “Break A Broken Heart.”

With “Liar,” Cyprus aims to make a lasting impression at Eurovision 2024, combining the talents of Silia Kapsis and Dimitris Kontopoulos in the pursuit of musical excellence on the international stage.
