Spare a thought for Latvia. Despite participating at every Eurovision since 2017, they have a non-qualification streak going back to Kyiv. Supernova 2024 had one goal — pick an act that can get Latvia back to the Grand Final.
The juries and televote had 50% of the say each in determining the Latvian representative for Eurovision 2024.
Both chose Hollow by Dons as the winner!

I’m glad Latvia chose Dons. It was the best entry of the bunch. My only fear is that it will cater more to the juries, and risks being a NQ in the Semis, but I pray that doesn’t happen!
