Welcome to our weekly post in an effort to keep you up-to-date on anything and everything *Eurovision* you might have missed in the last 7 days! Spoliers ahead!

The week of the 11th-17th February gave us FIVE more new songs to add to our Eurovision 2024 playlists!

🇩🇰 🌟 Saba wins Melodi Grand Prix in Denmark

If you wanted a big, anthemic power ballad for Eurovision this year, you got your wish! Saba finished first with the televote and jury in DMGP and will cross the Øresund Bridge to Malmö in May!

🇪🇪 🌟 Eesti Laul ends in Estonia just as predicted

Not much to say here, we all knew 5miinust and Puuluup would win with (Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi – and they did! There are already hints the song will be at least partially translated to English for Malmö, but for now we can still enjoy the uniquely Estonian version!

🇩🇪 🌟 Friday Night (LED) Lights in Berlin

Perhaps the most surprising national selection result so far this season came from Germany this week. Isaak came from seemingly nowhere to defeat Ryk, who most would have picked as the shoe-in to win. Isaak gave a vocally strong and somewhat emotional performance to take the win with Always On The Run!

🇱🇹 🌟 We had to ‘wait for a little bit’ in Lithuania

When the final selection show of the evening has its Superfinalists perform reprises of their songs, it drags a long day of Eurovision selections out just that much more, but it was worth the wait, as Silvester Belt defeated The Roop (who finished in 3rd place) for the ticket to Malmö!

🇲🇩 🌟 Natalia Barbu gets her second crack at Eurovision

Natalia Barbu will try to best her 2007 Eurovision 10th place result when she gets to Malmö with In The Middle. She now joins the list of Moldovan artists who have returned to Eurovision, including Pasha Parfeni, Zdob și Zdub, Natalia Gordienko, and SunStroke Project.

🇮🇸 Söngvakeppnin begins in Iceland

Iceland has kicked off its national selection, with two of Saturday’s five acts qualifying for the Grand Final. One of the three NQs from tonight might still make it to the Final, if the show’s producers decide to have a final with five acts. Guaranteed a spot are:

🇸🇪 Heat 3 of Melodifestivalen in Växjö

The third of five Heats of Melfest wrapped up in Sweden on Saturday night. In a new format for 2024, there is no ‘Second Chance’ Round, with the Top 2 songs from the five Heats going directly to the Final in Stockholm on 9th March.

After the first round of voting, Jacqlin was the favourite with Effortless, and goes straight to the Final in Stockholm. After a second round of voting, Give My Heart A Break by Cazzi Opeia had the most points and now also has a spot in the Final. Their songs will be released on YouTube and streaming services after Heat 5.

There is some hope left for the songs that finished in 3rd and 4th place. These songs are entered into a vote that will happen immediately after Heat 5 to choose the 11th and 12th spots in the Mello Final. This week’s runners up are:
