Here is what we think about Croatia’s entry for Malmö:
Jan: ★★★★★
Rim Tim Tagi Dim is an irresistibly catchy song with ethno vibes that make it stand out immediately. Baby Lasagna has truly put Croatia back on the Eurovision map with his amazing performance. It’s quickly become a hot favorite and is sure to be a hit at Euroclub. I hope he incorporates some Croatian into the final Eurovision version to add even more cultural depth.
Sebi: ★★★★☆
This was without a doubt Croatia’s best option for Eurovision. “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” has both, a good melody and the certain uniqueness that is needed, to succeed in Eurovision. However, his vocals and the overall live performance still need a lot of work. Also, I still hope he puts out a Croatian version for Malmö. But overall, there is a lot of potential and one of Croatia’s best entries in a long time!
Dave: ★★★★☆
This is an incredible song and an even better performance. I’ll admit it needs some work before it gets to Eurovision, but it will stand out as unique, even as Eurovision 2024 becomes filled with more and more party songs. ‘Rim Tim Tagi Dim’ is the anthem that stands out above the rest.
