Back in November 2023, the Greek Eurovision broadcaster ERT announced Marina Satti as the representative of Greece at the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.

The 37-year old superstar from Athens is known for her diverse and multifaceted art, ranging from acting, synchronisation, Musical performances to singing and songwriting, as well as collaborating with the most influential cultural institutions in Greece.

Tonight, her song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the title Zári (Ζάρι) was finally released. She’s come a long way from her classical piano and voice training with this track! Listen to the song here:

Here is what we think about the Greek entry for Malmö:

Jan: ★★★★☆

I feel like this is going to grow into a banger! Marina has done such a good job on this track, I can’t get the beat out of my head. Greece will 100% get back to the Final with this bop!

Sebi: ★★★★★

This is exactly what I wanted from Marina! She did not let me down one bit. This song is completely out of the box. The structure is unlike any song in Eurovision history! I don’t know if it’s too unconventional to suceeed in Eurovision but it’s definitely among my favorites this year!

Dave: ★★☆☆☆

This is a hot mess. I still don’t know what to think about it, but it’s certainly not a song I’ll be rushing to add to my playlist. I love how she incorporated traditional Greek sounds into the song, but little else grabbed my attention.

Zári (Ζάρι) will be performed in the first half of the Semi Final 2 on Thursday, 9th May and will mark Greece’s 50th anniversary at the Eurovision Song Contest.
