Georgian Eurovision hopeful Nutsa Buzaladze has finally released her Eurovision song Firefighter. The rising star has previously attempted to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017, where she finished in second place at the Georgian national final with the song White Horses Run.

Since then, Nutsa has been on a remarkable artistic journey. Not only has she been performing and living in Los Angeles and Dubai, where she also signed a contract with Theater Dubai, she also competed in American Idol in 2023, where she finished in 12th place and even had the honour to perform a duet with Kylie Minogue.

This year, Nutsa will finally grace the Eurovision stage with Firefighter, which was just released on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel:

Here is what we think about the Georgian entry for Malmö:

Jan: ★★★★☆

“Firefighter” by Nutsa Buzaladze is undoubtedly a banger, capturing attention from the get-go. The selection of Buzaladze by the Georgian broadcaster was a smart move, as she shines as a rising star in the music scene. Her vocal prowess is evident, and one can anticipate an even stronger performance live. While the song may take a few listens to fully appreciate, it’s clear that Buzaladze is on a trajectory for success, and we’ll surely be hearing more from her.

Sebi: ★★★☆☆

Nutsa has proven her incredible vocal capacity on numerous occassions and this song does everything, to let her showcase her talent. It also has a very interesting structure and the ending is kind of epic. I hope it will be enough to finally get Georgia back to the final!

Dave: ★★★★☆

I think this is Georgia’s year to finally get back to the Grand Final. This is theatrical, anthemic, easy to sing along to, and just generally catchy and uplifting. Can’t wait to see Nutsa sing the hell out of this in Malmö!
