The Czech entry for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest has finally been released in its official studio version. Adonxs previously performed an accoustic version of his Eurovision song “Kiss Kiss Goodbye” at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in February.
Today, on March 7th, the official studio cut for “Kiss Kiss Goodbye” has been published and it comes with a few unexpected elements, not heard in Adonxs’ first live performance:
ADONXS gained widespread recognition after winning the 2021 season of SuperStar, the Czech-Slovak adaptation of Idol. His performances during the competition, marked by bold, gender-fluid styling, charismatic stage presence, and challenged traditional norms. This victory not only launched his solo career but also cemented his status as a trailblazer in Czech and Slovak music.
His debut album, Age of Adonxs earned praise for its innovative blend of electronic pop and introspective lyricism, making it one of the standout albums in Slovak and Czech music in 2022.
Czechia will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 15th. Can Adonxs bring them back to the Grand Final? What do you think about “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”? Let us know in the comments and on our social media platforms! @buildingbridgespod
