The German national final (Das Deutsche Finale) for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö has just found its winner. These nine songs have been performed in Berlin Adlershof tonight.

01. NinetyNine – “Love On A Budget”

02. Leona – “Undream You”

03. Isaak – “Always On The Run”

04. Galant – “Katze”

05. Floryan – “Scars”

06. Bodine Monet – “Tears Like Rain”

07. Ryk – “Oh Boy”

08. Marie Reim – “Naiv”

09. Max Mutzke – “Forever Strong”

After an exciting voting sequence, Isaak has received the most points from the combination of international juries and the German televoting.

Of course the three hosts of our podcast have already reviewed the German entry for Malmö:

Jan: ★★★★☆

The German entry for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest is both catchy and professiona. There is no possible way that this will finish last place.

Sebi: ★★★☆☆

This was probably the catchiest song in the line-up and will definitely have many people in the arena chant along. The juries will appreciate his amazing voice and the public will hopefully like the contagious melody.

Dave: ★★★☆☆

A surprising, but pretty good choice from Germany! Isaak has what it takes to get Germany out of last place after so many years. I think he’ll take Malmö by storm!
