If you’re among the many Eurovision fans who found accomodation or Copenhagen, or you’re staying in Malmö but would like to cross the Öresund Bridge and explore some of Denmark, then we have fantastic news!
Skånetrafiken, the public transit system of Skåne (the Swedish region where Malmö is located), has created two new transit cards, specifically for Eurovision fans (although anyone can purchase them)!
Both tickets are valid for eight days from 5th May until 12th May. One applies to the whole of Swedish Scania (Skåne) and the other for over the Öresund Bridge and in the whole of Scania.
If you’d like unlimited travel within Scania for eight days, the Eurovision Scania ticket is just SEK 350 (approx. €30.50, $33USD, or $51AUD).
If you’re going to be back and forth to Copenhagen over the Öresund Bridge, you’ll need the Eurovision Scania/Copenhagen ticket, which is twice the price of the Eurovision Scania ticket (SEK 700 or approx. €61, $66USD, or $102AUD), and also includes unlimited travel across Skåne.
The tickets can be purchased from 15th April until 12th May on the Skånetrafiken app. You can download it on Google Play or the App Store if you don’t already have it!
