Yes, you read that correctly! You can now take a university course that’s all about the Eurovision Song Contest, and in today’s episode of the podcast, we’ll tell you exactly what it’s about, and how you can do it!

Four Ph.D. students have united at the University of Umeå in Sweden to offer a linguistics course about Eurovision and language. We were delighted when two of the professors, Kajsa Törmä and Paulette van der Voet, reached out to tell us about this incredible new course.

Interestingly, the professors got the idea to offer this course while watching Eurovision last year, and realized the academic merit that the Eurovision Song Contest has to offer.
